Running Workouts
July 20th/10 Meet at Alice Lake main parking lot by the concrete washroom blgd (North End). We will run Leg 3 of the STORMY relay.
In addition to the regular Tuesday running workouts, we are offering a "Performance Running" option. This is ideal your main goal is to improve race times and have a goal race coming up in the spring or summer. Roger Shirt and Volker Schneider will work with you to map out a customized workout schedule. If you are interested in this, please email Roger at rshirt@telus.net or talk to either of us at a Tuesday workout.
General Information
- Tuesdays: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
- Location will not always be the same so check the calendar each week.
- Doing every workout is not necessary! You can drop in any week.
- These sessions are designed to improve your road or trail running for distances between 5km to a marathon.
- We expect to have a mixed pace group from 60+ minutes to sub 40 minute 10km runners. The workouts are designed to accommodate any level of runner.
- Including warmups and cooldowns the workouts usually cover between 10 & 12 kilometers.
- Titans membership is required for all participants. Non-members are welcome to come out and try a workout, but are required to sign a waiver.
What to bring:
- Appropriate running attire for the weather.
- A cell phone (if you have one).
- A watch with timing function.
- Water.
- Some dry clothes for after so you don't get cold on the way home.
