Biking 2009
1st Annual Squamish Titans Century Ride!
Date: Sunday, August 23rd
Meeting Time: 7:00am at Brennan Park parking lot (to organize car pools to
Pemberton)
Century Ride: Pemberton to Anderson Lake and back (100km)
Pace: There will be a variety of pace groups and a SAG WAGON for support throughout the ride (to help out with flats, minor mechanical problems etc.)
Bring: Spare tube/s; water; food for the ride; layers (rain jacket if needed)
**Barbeque to Follow at Brennan Park Campground **
The Squamish Titans will be hosting a barbeque at Brennan Park Campground after the Century Ride. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Beverages to be supplied.
We ask that riders/and guests who plan to join us for the barbeque please RSVP to info@squamishtitans.com so we can guesstimate how much food we need for everyone! Also, if you would prefer veggie burgers or dogs please let us know. We are only looking for general numbers so even if you’re not 100% sure just let us know you are thinking about it.
Only current Titans members may participate in the ride but we welcome all guests to the barbeque.

20km Bike Time Trials

Details
- The start of the TT will be on Squamish Valley Road (2.2 km down Squamish Valley Road after the SVR and Paradise Valley Road intersection
- Don’t have a road bike, no worries, use your mountain bike
- The great thing about a TT is you are racing against the clock so feel
free to spin till you puke or take a leisurely ride down Squamish Valley
Road with friends - Total ride distance including warm up and cool down will be 35 to 40kms
- There will be three of these TT over the summer so you can work at shaving minutes or seconds off your time!

- Titans membership is required for all participants
What to Bring
- Spare tube, pump
- Layer clothing so you don’t freeze on the ride home
- Bike computer or watch with timing function
- Water – Snack
BRIC WORKOUTS

- Road or mountain bikes welcome
- Appropriate for all levels of cyclists and runners
- This is your chance to iron out any kinks in your bike/run transition
- A great workout for anyone
- We will be having two bike/run bric workouts this year
